UV Camera Skin Analysis

At York Vein and Laser Clinic we use the Ultracam™ ultraviolet camera. 

This camera uses ultraviolet lamps  that allow the patient and the physician to see sun damage that is not visible to the naked eye.

It is used before all photorejuvenation and photodynamic therapy to judge the degree of sun damage and to uncover skin lesions that may be precancerous.

Another photograph is taken following treatment to judge the efficacy of treatment.
