Once a day at bedtime, apply a small amount of MD Lash Factor along the upper lid just like eyeliner. It goes on the skin at the lid margin, not on the lashes.
This depends on how fast your lashes normally grow, and this varies considerably.
People have reported noticeable changes in as little as two weeks (these people have fast eyelash growth under normal circunstances). Four weeks is more common (these people have average rate of eyelash growth under normal circunstances). Some people's lashes grow very slowly, and for them, it may take 2 or 3 months to see the effect.
One study of MD Lash Factor demonstrated an average increase in lash length of 48% from 3.63mm to 5.36mm. Keep in mind that this is an average. Some people will fall above this average, some below.
No. Continued use is required. If you stop using the product, your eyelashes will eventually return to their original length. This would take about two months.
All you have to do is apply MD Lash Factor less often to maintain the effect. Try using it every 3 days. Then adjust up or down from there.
Some users have achieved growth that is longer than they want. In this case, discontinue use and wait a few weeks. Then start applying it every 4 days and adjust from there.
Studies by ophthalmologists have demonstrated no change in the eyes related to visual acuity or pressure when used as directed.
There were early reports of eye color changes, but this was apparently related to prostagladins (hormone-like molecules), which have been removed from MD LashFactor.
Studies are limited, but one independent clinical study by a board certified ophthalmologist and dermatologist showed an excellent safety profile.
Specifically there was:
• No change in visual acuity
• No change in eyeball pressure
• No change in contact lens color, scratches, or deposits.
• No allergic reactions
• No irritation, tearing, or eyelid inflammation.
• No corneal abnormalities
MD Lash Factor was declared to be safe for use by people with normal eyes, people with sensitive eyes, and people who wear contact lenses.
In our clinic, we have had occasional reports of eyelid irritation. In these people, the skin of the eyelid will adapt after a short break, and they will almost certainly be able to resume use.If you develop any redness, irritation or other symptoms, stop using the product and inform us.
Discoloration of the skin and iris has been seen with excessive use of the original product. MD Lash Factor has been reformulated, and this is no longer an issue.
It is extremely unlikely that this product would cause any problems to the fetus or newborn.
However, the effects of this product on the fetus and newborn are unknown. DONOT use MD Lash Factor while you are pregnant or breast feeding. DO NOT use it if you are trying to get pregnant. Discontinue use immediately if you discover that you are unexpectedly pregnant.
When used as directed, a tube should last 5-6 months. That said, people are finding that it lasts much longer because maintaining the eyelash length you have achieved requires the use of the product only once or twice a week. One tube of MD Lash Factor can last 10-12 months.
